Very Vicki: December 2009
http://veryvicki.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Thursday, December 31, 2009. On Facebook today I read so many status updates saying good riddance to 2009. For many it was a less-than-great year of ups and downs. I could say the same about my 2009, since the year had its range of events and emotions, but in my book it's been a great year. Here's 2009 in a nutshell:. A vacation to California to see friends and family. An unexpected job loss. An unexpected call back from the company. Strengthening my passion for our business and my goals. Much, much more.

The Quest for a healthier, simpler life. Wednesday, September 1, 2010. I am a triathlete. Two weeks ago I have completed my very first triathlon! We have been training for it for the last 3 months and I was really looking forward to it and I had a great time. The swim goes pretty well, I pass a reasonnable number of people (and not only the ones that can’t swim) and leave the water after 19 min and 25 secs, my best time ever. Light jogging to the transition area, where I dry off, put on my clot...The cou...

A blog about wedding bliss, living with thyroid diesease, healthy eating, running, healing, growth, and everything in between! Sunday, January 31, 2010. Its been one lazy Sunday. Although we are all allowed a lazy day here and there right? I probably take them more than I should though. Derek Plasklaiko did tear it up last night. Loved it! But something exciting is happening this week! Ingrid Michaelson's tour dates are being announced! I hope Detroit is on the tour! Labels: Biggest Loser Challenge.

We were born and raised in a summer haze

We were born and raised in a summer haze. Bound by the surprise of our glory days. Entries by tag: self improvement. November 17th, 2012. Despite all of that history, over the past few years I’ve become a wannabe and in-progress minimalist. Here’s how I did it. Why, How, etc. I still have a ways to go, especially in these areas:. I have no idea what size or shape I will be after the baby so it’s hard to know when I’ve definitively grown out of something. Then there’s the baby’s stuff! For her 40th birthd...

Work Life Kaizen: Making a Commitment & Sticking to It!
http://worklifekaizen.blogspot.com/2009/12/making-commitment-sticking-to-it.html
Change for the better @ Work and @ Life. Making a Commitment and Sticking to It! I've had eight days off away from work to really think about what's important to me. Among many things, one area of focus was my blog and how I felt a sense of failure by not making it a habit to post content on a consistent basis. My personal commitment is to establish a habit for the blog and I've been checking out 6changes. For assistance, a site created by Leo Babauta. Who is best known for his blog, Zen Habits. Spatial ...
