Sunday, August 22, 2010. Time In the LC. We are back from Lake County. Mimi brought London back into town this afternoon and we had a great reunion. He was so excited to see me when I came up to the car. He started laughing when I gave him kisses and I even saw a tear in his eyes. It was adorable. Random Thoughts of a Great-Granny Grandma. I'M GLAD I WAITED. On Mother's Day, my daughter gave me a seedling tomato plant that I nurtured on my windowsill for several weeks. When it seemed big enough and strong enough, I transplanted it and moved it to my balcony, where it really took off. By July, the leaves were looking thick and healthy, and there were many flowers on it, but none of the flowers turned into tomatoes. They just bloomed, and then dried up and died.
