A Bit of Sunshine. Those who bring sunshine to the lives of others cannot keep it from themselves" - James Barrie. Monday, April 25, 2011. Sometimes Your Only Choice is to Laugh. I had an experience the other day that if I hadn't laughed I probably would have just cried, or worse yet, lost my temper with one of my sweet little ones. Are you kidding me! That is just great, now I have to change my pajamas! Strange mumblings and shuffling; I am all ears). Josh: "Um, Mom? Could you come help me? Poor Josh, h...

Life is to be enjoyed, not just endured.: November 2012

Wednesday, January 23, 2013. Addison was baptized on November 3rd. It was a JOYOUS day! My parents, Jesse's dad and most of his family (including 15 cousins) were able to come.. The day started out with the whole family going to Addison's basketball game. After the baptism we came back to our house for dinner and then all went to the Boise Temple Open House (for about a year and a half the Boise Temple has been closed during a major renovation). It was a perfect day. Hunter with his dance partner, Paige.

Thursday, April 10, 2014. My kids are so good to me ♡. Migraines are not common here, so I was super impressed with how they took care of me. They knew exactly what I needed. The day started off BAD, to tell the truth, but ended thousands of times better. Just one of those times I never want to forget. ♡♡. Location: Hillsboro, United States. Thursday, November 29, 2012. Braden, 7th Grade. Hunter, 9th Grade and Megan, 11th Grade. Chase, 1st Grade and Addison, 2nd Grade. Which brings me to a new phase of life. After 17 years of having a young child with me during the day, all the kids are in school full day. It's a bit of a transition, since I absolutely love preschoolers, but it is rewarding to see them growing up and thriving.. Another new phase: All FIVE kids being in sports at the same time. CRAZY! And my personal favorite. In August we ...

The son becomes the father. Thursday, November 6, 2008. As with every election I find myself feeling a lot of mixed emotions. Sad that it’s over (yes I am one of those sick twisted people who enjoyed this), excited for the future, worried about the choices we have made, but something that I honestly haven’t felt in a long time when speaking about Politics, hope. The son becomes the father. Saturday, September 27, 2008. He began our discussion by asking me why I found myself leaning Republican. I replied that it was because Republicans closely aligned their views with my religious beliefs. He then asked, “What religion are you? I was excited to reply, “Mormon! 8221; with my return missionary mentality. I am not saying I agreed with everything he had to say, but I was shocked that I had not seen that point of view. Simply put, he opened my eyes.
