Monday, June 30, 2014. It has been a bit of a sad week for me with all of the hoopla surrounding the Ordain Women movement. There have been so many blog posts that talk about this issue. I don't really feel the need to add mine. I just wanted to add a few things that happened this past month for me that seem related to these issues. I love my church and my religion. Wednesday, June 24, 2015. I had just gotten home from work, showered, got all ready for the night, and was literally stepping outside the door to go to Taylor's when Phil, Nate, and Adam called me. Want to go boating right now? So I promptly turned around, grabbed my swimsuit and towel, hurried to Taylor's, and they picked us up just a minute later. In the words of Taylor, "When someone invites you to go boating, you go. It's just what you do.". Perks of evening boating: you can take cool sunset pictures.

Tuesday, February 25, 2014. Simone is reading like crazy to try to win her read-a-thon. She is about halfway through Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and she started it yesterday. Sunday, August 09, 2015. Every Sunday we go to church. When I was a kid, it wasn't my favorite. And sometimes still I get really sleepy in Gospel Doctrine Sunday School class. But walking out of the church today I felt full of gratitude. Each Sunday I have three hours to listen to talks and have discussions that inspire me to want to be better.
