来る北海道ロングツーリングに向けスイフトについて色々調べてきましたが、道中で何度か車中泊することになり、車中泊ができるかどうかを改めて確認した結果、これは不可能だろうと判断しました。リアシートを倒すとかなりの傾斜がうまれ、おまけに私の身長162cmであっても横になって足を伸ばすことが出来ません。車中泊のためにマットなどの装備を別途増やすつもりはありませんので、このままでは厳しそうです。 そして、「日本車ならスイフト」とまで気に入っていたのにも関わらず、何度も乗っているうちに不満な点が明らかになってきました。それはハンドリングです。MINIほどではないですが程よくクイックに曲がるので、その気持ち良さは納得できます。しかしステアリングをきる時のパワステの感触が、よくよく考えると凄く安っぽい。そう感じてから、残念ながらスイフト熱が少し冷めてしまいました。 以上の3つの点から、スイフトの予約をキャンセルすることにしました。ごめんよスイフト。 この前乗ったインプレッサスポーツ （リンク）. ステアリングはスイフトの軽さに慣れてしまった腕にはかなり重く、しっかり握らないと回すのが大変です！...

Just another WordPress.com weblog. January 20, 2010. Rental Car Dos and Don’ts. I travel quite a bit for work. While the downturn in the economy has certainly curtailed it some, I find myself on the bus heading for the rental facility about every 2-3 weeks. A recent trip got me thinking about things every renter/driver should consider when renting a car.
