Sunday, June 26, 2011. So now the really entertaining aspect of all this is that the kitty stalks Evelyn practically all day every day. The kitty watches the Littles, too, like a cat watches goldfish. But with Evelyn she can actually have some fun, getting her to flap and squawk and run away. It's so cute, she always says she's talking to her Aunt Stacy. Niah on the phone too, look how beautiful she is and how big our baby has grown. Papa Mayes took us sledding behind the 4-wheeler. We had to get out an at least try to enjoy the snow that won't go away. We all got covered in snow and and the little 2 had snow dripping from their faces.

Saturday, August 2, 2014. I love Easter. I wish it lasted a month long like Christmas does. I love the meaning, the sense of hope and nice weather is just around the corner. Here we are decorating 10 dozen eggs. Hunting for eggs. This year we did something a bit different. They each picked a certain color egg and they could only find those matching eggs. This way, they all got the same number and it made it a bit harder:). Made from gelatin, lemon/lime juice, honey and citrus essential oils. Not bad.

One of our really good friends had built this for his 2 daughters and now they are getting bigger and will be moving away and don't want to take it with them. He wanted to make sure that it would get used some more and he knew just the girls who would love it. George, the neighbor, and my dad getting it all ready to move into position. They are so excited and so am I!

So we had a Strawberry Shortcake cake made for her. I wish I could say I. Made this cake, but I did not! We painted little Terra Cotta Pots and then filled them with dirt. And planted little seeds in the pots so the kids could watch their plants grow this spring! We had to do it in the garage this year becuase the rain. Won't let up here.
