I don’t think I ever drank as many of those in a day as I did Pepsi, but there was rarely a day I didn’t have one with lunch, another with dinner, and another later, just because. 75 Days of Summer. My quest to teach my children about how food changes everything. Vacations make me nervous! Back on track… almost →. June 24, 2012. We are getting ready to wrap up a week off. Off work, away from home, and we strayed off the plan a bit. It always surprises me how fast that sugar rush can hit and fade. And how quickly you want more. But as we go through this together, we are also considering ways to cut back on such indulgences. Maybe we’ll turn off the cable? Vacations make me nervous!

Looking for answers about food, sustainability, organic, being green, and lessening my impact. November 3, 2011. Just yesterday I received my last delivery from my first subscription to a CSA program. I was so sad to see it arrive, knowing it wouldn’t be until next June that I’d get another delivery. This has been the single biggest improvement in our diet at home — having fresh vegetables delivered every week! Cauliflower (white, green, orange and purple). Lettuce (both leaf and sweet or spicey mix).

Getting to the top though was so worth it for the view that greeted me. There it was, Mt Blanc in all its glory! What can i say, absolutely stunning! It was only later on when back at the villa that i discovered that for all my chilling i had gotten myself some ruby red tan lines which are now bloody killing me!
