Growing like a Stanfield: November 2011
http://growinglikeastanfield.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Growing like a Stanfield. Sunday, November 6, 2011. If you would've told me. Okay, so I'm not as good at keeping up with this as I was. It just seems that now that I actually have time to do things, there are hundreds of other things that I want to do. They also go to bed by themselves at night, gladly closing their eyes after we read a book or two. Sometimes they even tell me now that they are too tired for books, and just want to go to sleep. Last week I started the bath, and had them both come in, one...

Growing like a Stanfield: Catching up
http://growinglikeastanfield.blogspot.com/2011/06/catching-up.html
Growing like a Stanfield. Tuesday, June 21, 2011. So I haven't been able to post here as often as I had wanted after school was finished, so I'm going to do a little catching up tonight. One night I put the kids to bed, and Connor was having one of his nights where he just didn't quite want to go to sleep. He has those frequently just because he doesn't quite need as much sleep as Tyler. That's okay. He usually just sits in there and sings to himself. It's darling. And he said "sure". There's a new show ...

Growing like a Stanfield: October 2010
http://growinglikeastanfield.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Growing like a Stanfield. Sunday, October 31, 2010. My Favorite Part of Halloween. So we carved pumpkins. It was fun, but that meant that mommy and daddy did most of the carving since it involved knives and intricate pictures. It was still fun, and the owl and scary guy turned out pretty good. The Owl (made by yours truly, at Connor's request). The super scary guy (made by Kyle at Tyler's request). Then on Halloween we had a couple of real scary guys in our house. One was Batman! And we lit a fire. I rea...

Growing like a Stanfield: Sharing
http://growinglikeastanfield.blogspot.com/2011/05/sharing.html
Growing like a Stanfield. Monday, May 16, 2011. It is again this time of the year. I'm not quite sure if it's my favorite, because I have a lot of favorites in the year. One that does stick in my mind though is the fresh green grass (when it's so new and soft) and when the sun stays out longer in the evening. I guess that would be now. Most of all, I'm enjoying getting back to my family. I've missed truly enjoying them. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Blogs that make me smile. We Bought A House!

Growing like a Stanfield: The e-mail that made my day
http://growinglikeastanfield.blogspot.com/2011/05/e-mail-that-made-my-day.html
Growing like a Stanfield. Sunday, May 22, 2011. The e-mail that made my day. Last week was a crazy week. It was work times two, packing boxes to move to my new job, and lots of stuff at home. I was distracted, at best. Friday afternoon I was walking back to my office and was checking my Blackberry to get caught up on e-mail. I was thrilled when I received the following message from his kindergarten teacher:. Have a great weekend.". Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Blogs that make me smile. A 30-ish mo...

Growing like a Stanfield: A sick day
http://growinglikeastanfield.blogspot.com/2011/10/sick-day.html
Growing like a Stanfield. Wednesday, October 5, 2011. Sick days are so much different now for us than they used to be. I remember as young kids, sick days meant fussiness and odd naptimes and refusing to eat or drink anything and just a very frustrating and exhausting day. I've probably said it a million times, but it really hit me today how much these Stanfield boys are growing up. Too fast at times, but I'm going to soak in every moment, even on this sick day. I wish article about wish pearl. A 30-ish ...
