Tuesday, February 26, 2008. We spent 3 months here. In that time I have had more dealing with police than in my entire life! 1 domestic next door and then the follow-ups from that. Then the 1 guy of his nut trying to break into all the apartments and then the follows up from that. And then day before we leave one of the older gentleman down stairs passed away of a heartattack. So they were back again. It was a real pity we were leaving but if we stayed we would have shit weather for the South.

Wednesday, February 27, 2008. Tuesday - Papu Springs - Rainbow Ski fields. Todaywe went to Papu Springs. They are rated the clearest water springs in the world! It was very clear. We also went to an Animal farm. We were able to go round and hand feed ducks, geese, cows, sheep, pigs, emus’, yam, horses, rabbits, guinea pigs, cats, dogs, lamas and ox’s. The fan belt snapped! 30km outside Christchurch, thanking our lucky stars we didn’t head to the Glaciers on the West coast and that I had bought AA cover, which was super good deal!
