Tuesday, May 31, 2005. Well, Blanton didn't bounce back completely. Like I expected yesterday. But one aspect of our pitching did - the bullpen. Incredible job by the pen - especially Huston Street, pitching two great innings after struggling the day before. Is that guy a strikeout machine, or what? I love watching him pitch. Hopefully this team starts racking up runs and creating save situations so everybody can get a glimpse of this guy. He's going to be big. Missing piece all along? Tonight, it's back...

Giants vs A's: March 2005
http://giantsvsas.blogspot.com/2005_03_01_archive.html
Two Bay Area baseball teams. Two fans. At least one is horribly misguided. Wednesday, March 30, 2005. The Worst of the Best. I've entered my team in BPro's. Pitcher #1: Sean Estes. Pitcher #2: Chan Ho Park. Posted by Giants vs A's at 10:28 PM. Tuesday, March 29, 2005. So, as some of you might be aware, the season starts on April 4th. Whereas, due to bad planning on somebody's part, it is currently still only March 29th. The problem is what to say. It's a baseball blog, we should say something about b...

Two Bay Area baseball teams. Two fans. At least one is horribly misguided. Wednesday, April 06, 2005. Yep, that's right. John J. Perricone of Only Baseball Matters. Is expanding his site, and for some reason he's decided to bring us two clowns on board. Near as we can figure, in between the thoughtful and considered pieces from one of the more insightful writers in baseball blogdom, we're a sort of comic relief. Posted by Giants vs A's at 10:02 PM. Tuesday, April 05, 2005. The Winds of Change. That said,...

Monday, June 27, 2005. A's got the day off today, and I'm looking forward to watching Zito and Moyer go at it tomorrow. That 16-0 game was insane. The team has been a complete turnaround from the start of the season. Not a lot of people are noticing yet - but they will. Got a bad stomach ache, so I'm not writing much on here tonight. It's probably from watching Stephen A. Smith and Stuart Scott at the same time, during the ESPN NBA Draft preview. That alone made me want to puke. Friday, June 24, 2005.

Another 1-Run win over Texas that. Included 4 Solo HR shots from the A's boosted the A's win record, but we just cant seem to catch a break. W. Posted by The Oakland Ace @ 8:33 PM. Buy, Buy, Buy!

Friday, July 15, 2005. Jay Payton introduces himself with a homerun in his first AB as an Athletic. Chavez and Swisher also join in the action. And to this point, the 5th inning, Zito's pitching almost as good as Harden yesterday. Doesn't get any better. Speaking of Swisher - this guy's gonna win Rookie of the Year. Book it. Posted by Corey Jones at Friday, July 15, 2005. Thursday, July 14, 2005. Yep, he's been traded to Colorado for Kennedy and Witasick. Two acqusitions I really like. Yeah, those White ...
