It features many unusual specs and quirks that are unique to this kit as well as featuring prototype hardware. Irst of all the lugs are the 5/8 'P' lugs which have been offset and staggered on every drum, it is a true display of what can be done with Lug LOCATIONS AND THE NIGHTMARE THAT COMES WITH DIFFERENT LENGTH T-BOLTS. Ll 3 have involved me experimenting with a shell that is exactly 14" in outer diameter and veneering. Very deep snare at 7 1/4 Rose has a long decay that is enhanced by the over sized diameter. Ue to the strength and integrity of the CF it means the shells CAN AND ARE MADE ONLY 3mm in thickness. His allows for the drum shell to be light in weight and more importantly highly resonant and sensitive allowing for a very different tone and attack than that of wood or metal shelled drums.
