This was one of the first typing games (interactive fiction) that I played on an old Toshiba laptop. In short the game was about a magic stone which allows you to make wishes. It was great at first, but I kept getting lost and struggled with the parser. I ended up typing swear words just to illicit something from the game, and in the end I gave up.

Just having an illusion that a piece of expensive kit will work out of the box is unbelievably great. Of course it doesn't pan out that way, just look at Apple Support on their homepage and you'll see the problems that they have with DNS. They will get corrupted from time to time and slow down the internet!

Can last up to 25 hours! Who on earth would want to use a netbook for any length of time? It's fun on the couch, as long as the screen goes back far enough, and it's great to just pick up and use it anywhere. It' cheap enough to put in the kitchen without worrying about flying sauce or other sticky things.

Let's face it, the exciting news is that it will apparently run up 9.5 hours! That it fantastic. So if we divide the battery life in half, that's the very least we'll get if we were really cynical. What's not to like? The 32 pounds of weight. Sorry, but I'm spoilt silly by netbooks that weight a lot less. Than that. This is heavy.
