9th Grade Art Blog. Friday, November 10, 2006. Challenge. Invent an hour-long lesson for an elementary school class based on pattern. The lesson must be set to the level of the children to be taught. Smaller children may not have fine motor skills (ability to use tools and equipment). Think about what equipment you will need them to be able to use! Make a list. Would using cutting tools be a good idea? Prepare a presentation on pattern. What is it? Where does it come from? The lesson must be fun!
