9 Months in Wales. Thought I would include a follow up post on this blog because I RAN MY MARATHON I HAVE BEEN TRAINING FOR for about 6 months in total! Was definitely necessary especially because I am still in shock that I was able to do it. I ran the first 10 miles with the 4:40 pace group then soon realized I shouldn’t because I trained to finish, not for time! I was determined not to walk at all however! The weekend before Rory and I left for Amsterdam, his housemate Liam had a going away party that was a nice way to send him off for his summer spent working in Italy (and beyond)! It was graffiti themed so we all wore white T-shirts and signed them – quite a fun night. After we came back from Amsterdam, we hit up pound a pint for one last night at our favourite pub:.
