The 6th airborne Division, under the command of Major General R.N Gale (pictured) was made up of 12,215 soldiers. 701 officers and 11,514 other ranks. The 9th Parachute Regiment (Battalion), under the command of Lt. Colonel Terence Otway was a Regiment in the 6th Airborne. The 9th Para saw much fighting during the later part of the war. WE MAKE SURE EVERYONE KNOWS WHO THEY WERE!
