Life is really good. Remembering that can be the tricky part. So, I'm trying to remember to see God's hand in it all. Sunday, August 3, 2008. I'm grateful for good, uplifting friends. The other day (yesterday, actually), a good friend came over and helped me pack. She was exactly what I needed, because I am so easily distracted. She stayed until the task was completely finished. Life is really good. Remembering that can be the tricky part. So, I'm trying to remember to see God's hand in it all. Friday, August 19, 2011. Today I had a moment that I want to capture: Driving with a friend and my nieces, with windows down and music so loud I could hardly hear Lauren belting her own, lyrics-changed version of the song. We listened to "Perfect Day," performed by that older lady who got famous on that TV show (someone help me out here? And as we sang along, I felt that happiness- welling.

Life is really good. Remembering that can be the tricky part. So, I'm trying to remember to see God's hand in it all. Sunday, November 16, 2008. Last weekend I was (getting) sick, and here's what showed up at my house:. Soup from a friend on Saturday. Soup from a neighbor on Saturday or Sunday. Soup from another friend on Sunday. Spaghetti from a neighbor on Monday. Now, this is not typical (good thing- what we do with all the food? It just felt good. I just felt blessed.
