Thursday, 13 May 2010. I produced this diagram of exactly what I am going to produce for my Design Context document. I wanted to make it clear to the people in my crit what I am intending on producing, so that I could get appropriate feedback. My group likes the idea of giving each book a band made of coloured acetate that cancels out some of the type, which you then see when it is removed. They also like the idea of wrapping all four documents together to make them more intriguing to unwrap and read.

The sent me 200 rather than 100 cards, I am guessing as repayment for the mess they made of the first lot. I am very pleased with this batch, they're pretty much perfect! Thursday, 17 December 2009. I have managed to tie my studio practice to my dissertation through the sustainable packaging brief mainly. The research and work I am doing has informed me about sustainability and I have allowed this to filter through into the other briefs I have been doing, but I have not made it the main focus.
