BEARLY WILD BEARS: January 2014
http://bearlywild.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
Musings about bears, quilting, creativity, family and friends. Thursday, January 30, 2014. I'm sending three bears to Alabama IF the snow quits and IF Mobile doesn't have six inches of ice on the roads. The weather is frightful no matter where you live. These were made from the young man's shirts. The collars and the buttons of the shirts were used. For collars on these first two. I used the cuffs to make a collar for this guy. I never used cuffs before but I rather like the looks of it. Hexie Day at Sea!

Musings about bears, quilting, creativity, family and friends. Sunday, October 7, 2012. Joni's Bears and Minnie. I promised some pics on those bears I'm doing from my sister's clothing. I told her children to pick out a clothing item and I would make a teddy bear for them as a remembrance. I was handed several bags with a clothing item and the name of the recipient. Eighteen bears to make in all. This was the first one I made from Joni's sparkly jacket. I have five more done. The first two nights I slept...

One Woman's Work: October 2011
http://onewomansworkfromoz.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
The journey of a crafter. Thursday, 27 October 2011. Nice People, Nice Things. I bought a kit of Helen Stubbings' "Nice People Nice Things". Quilt, nearly 2 years ago in Adelaide at Patchwork By Sea. I love all the little stitcheries and I especially love that it is a quilt as you go project. I enjoy being able to quilt an item myself and not have to pay someone to do it or have to try to manoeuvre a huge quilt underneath my domestic machine. As I was reading Kelly's blog. I would have liked to have gott...
