This Is Not Good. Monday, December 27, 2010. FILED UNDER: The Nest. So I just returned from our annual crazy, whirlwind, see-every-relative-on-the-planet trip across the glorious state of Kansas. E gets home from Philly in less than 12 hours, with his parents in tow. And our apartment looks like this. Shutting down the computer right about now would probably be a good life decision, since The Countdown is now T-11 hours. But Beaujolais and blogging is such a lovely combination. Bad After all, out-of-town guests got a save-the-date, right? Making me buy the Christian Dior wedding shoes. You're right, they're totally worth it.

Music Monday: First Aid Kit. Monday, February 20, 2012. FILED UNDER: Music Monday. So I've left the stay-at-home-wife ranks. For now. I've taken on a three-month, full-time freelance position, which is great. Not so great? I have a brutal commute every day. (Damn you, Schuyklill Expressway.)
