About A Simple Life. Wednesday, March 25, 2015. Shuri Castle Family Visits. When my parents were in town visiting we took them on a few outings to see some of Okinawa's main sites. One of the places we took them to was Shuri Castle, which I've written about before here. This was our second time visiting Shuri Castle and we enjoyed it again. I was able to take more pictures of the living quarters in the castle, which are so beautiful! Luckily, Grandaddy Tom is coming to visit soon! We are so excited!
