Sunday, January 25, 2009. Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything." (James 1:1-4). I had surgery yesterday to put in the chemotherapy port and have a lymph node biopsy. I will get my first chemotherapy treatment on Wednesday the 28th. I am anxious to start killing some cancer cells! Veronica @ A Quiet Heart.

My sweet parents gave us the most lovely of gifts.I have wanted this set for years and just never bought it.so they surprised us with it last week! I love the song "What a Strange Way to Save the World" and each time I think of the nativity scene it always comes to my thoughts. What an exciting day! Oh to be young again!
