When I see the progression of my proposal form the consistent intentions seem to be concerning my portfolio. My main objective of this module was to produce work which represents what I want to do and what relates to the people I am addressing it to. Changing and tuning my briefs to cater for this was a fantastic learning curve. Up to date statements/ proposals/ forms. Anyway, here they are! My most recent rationale. Mocking up in context. Tuesday, 29 May 2012. The logical way of doing this would be to write about what I have done and then what I am going to do in order to be where I want to be. Competitions have also been a great turning point for me this module. Winning a space in Secret 7 in London as well as being a nominee (pending winner) and being in the exhibition in London for the Serco Prize for Illustration is a real confidence booster. Newest Portfolio with new work-still needs massive tweaks. Oh, this is what I sent to print.

Over the last three years I have always found design context quite tricky. I understood research when it comes to finding content of establishing problems in briefs but I never really fully got the research into other people that do what you do. Other answers made me see so clearly why that illustrators drawing is how it is, weather it was it's tone or stroke or colour, I could relate that to how they think, and in doing that assess that relationship in my brain.
