As a group, we thought it was important to intertexualise with artists. our idea of having Ria facing the camera, facing us came from Beyonce's CD Album 'Sasha Fierce' we thought it ticked all the boxes you would find for a RnB female single, and it was very effective doing so. Where our ideas came from. As you can see we tried to film a video in video scene with photos coming to life. thsi was in our original storyboard. The idea of 'video in video' came from Cher Lloyd's 'Want U Back', I think the idea is different and you don't often see it in music videos. It creates a variation in our music video rather than the usual shots you'd see. However we changed our storyboard and in the end did not use this, despite filming and practising this. Tuesday, 13 March 2012. CD and music advert. We realised that we had to put on more makeup on our artist for our CD cover. From previous research we found that we had to put a lot of makeup on, as in studios makeovers. On so that it looks good in the camera and hides any blemishes.
