Physician Clinical Leadership Initiative. Dario C. Altieri, MD, is president and CEO of The Wistar Institute, in Philadelphia, and director of Wistar's cancer center. Collaboration is the unifying thread of biomedical science; it is what defines the field, and how researchers want to be known to their peers and in the community.
