Thursday, November 27, 2003. Just a thought. The Aussies have made a rapid scoring rate their strength. Has someone, in the past 2 years, tried to bowl a negative line to them? You know, what Hussain's England tried in India in 2001-02 to a limited degree of success. Would they get frustrated at being denied opportunities of scoring? Is this tactic worth a shot? A Little South Of Sanity: When The Levee Breaks

A Little South Of Sanity. Life of a Software Engineer.LIVE from India. Friday, September 16, 2005. When The Levee Breaks. Finally we went Beta with our product yesterday. It has been one helluva roller coaster ride with this project. My IT friends here would agree with my sentiments, whenever a product you are associated with goes beta or in the market, you feel proud about it, irrespective of the number of bugs your code would have introduced in the otherwise stable product :-). A Little South Of Sanity: Naram Masala
http://rahulpat.blogspot.com/2005/11/naram-masala.html
A Little South Of Sanity. Life of a Software Engineer.LIVE from India. Thursday, November 10, 2005. Herapheri had a perfect script and some superb acting by Paresh Rawal and Om puri. Humgama again had a hilarous script but wasn't as good as Herapheri. Hulchul left me wondering why the movie was made. And now after watching Garam Masala I seriously think Priyadarshan should pack his luggage and leave Mumbai. Can't believe the same director gave us a classic viz. Herapheri. Whats wrong in the movie?

A Little South Of Sanity: Murphy at work

A Little South Of Sanity. Life of a Software Engineer.LIVE from India. Friday, August 12, 2005. Never, never plan things well in advance. Why? Now, tomorrow "P" was supposed to be here with couple of her friends and again we planned everything meticulously and what happens? The plan goes for a toss and we can't meet. When you really long for something there is a very high possibility that you won't get it. Ever heard of Murphy's Laws? Because most of the friends are out to their native places.

Dial M for Monkee. Thursday, August 28, 2008. Common man and the unplanned trek. concluded. The story so far. Cuplord actually turns out into the unlikely hero at the end. end of Spoiler alert. So, Cuplord and Common man found themselves at the top of a hill after a trek which left the Cuplord in the same state as the Ruhrland after world war two. Common man and Cuplord briefly conferred on this. The latter had a very plausible theory for the same, and I'd suggest that the discerning reader contact e...

Life at IIMB - Indian Institute of 'Mad'ness Bangalore. May 31, 2004. I am feeling really jobless at home. So I was doing some bizarre calculations for fun. I studied in a private engineering college called SVCE which is situated in the suburbs of Chennai. The commute to college used to be really long and hectic. I tried to estimate the amount of time I had wasted in these bus journeys. It goes like this. No of years I spent in college: 4. Now think of the things I could have done in that amount of time:.

Life at IIMB - Indian Institute of 'Mad'ness Bangalore. October 11, 2004. Back in Bangalore after a long vacation in Chennai! You might ask. Just that we have to fill up some 60-70 application forms and sit through some 30 odd terribly boring company presentations, all this in a month! Friends, Bloggers, Countrymen. The views expressed are my own.

Life at IIMB - Indian Institute of 'Mad'ness Bangalore. June 27, 2004. IIM Bangalore's campus is awesome! I don't think any other word would describe the campus appropriately. The buildings are built of stone and have a Medieval-castle feel. At night you feel as if Robin Hood and his gang of outlaws are lurking in the dark somewhere.waiting to rob unsuspecting Wannabe managers. Enough said.
