Friday, February 12, 2010. A few friends.and fun. The little cabin is the Long's place in Montesua a couple of hours out of Antananarivo. We visited Vicuna, a wonderf. Ul nature, preserve where we could visit with several different kids of lemurs and the crocs were enormous and the chameleons amazing. This beautiful beach is in on Ile Ste Marie where Karen and I had 4 days of sun, snorkel, sea lice and fresh vanilla beans with our desserts. This little smiley boy was Rachel's favorite.

Sunday, November 29, 2009. Thanksgiving in Jeju Island. It is Monday and we have just returned from lovely Jeju Island off the southern coast of Korea. We golfed, played cards, hiked, enjoyed the sun and sea and climbed a caldera next to the sea, ate lots of fishy stuff.(still can't get away from kimchi though.). Sunday, November 15, 2009. Winter is here in Seoul. Well it is 25 degrees this morning, brrr. We had 12 for dinner last night. So fun getting to know faculty and having them visit each other. With a faculty of 200 it is difficult to visit with each others' schools. We had a lovely visit with the Carlsons and the Taylors. Both couples visiting Korean families from Stony Brook and Wendell setting up a business for prospective Korean students for Minnehaha. Have a great Thanksgiving! View my complete profile.

That means he must have started there in 1984 when Jorie was 8, Jason was 6, and Annie was 2. We still lived on Mayflower Place in. Wheaton, IL then; moved to Carol Stream, IL in 1985; and then to Cedar Rapids in 2000. All that time he has worked for the same company. Joel loved having Grandpa put him to bed and continue with the latest episode of the "Adventures of Snuffle-upigus," Joel's stuffed dog. Grandpa makes up wonderfully exciting adventures about this dog that keep Joel dreaming all night long! Grandma time was the next morning, starting out with Swedish pancakes hot off the grill!
