Yarn chicken loose, nope… – Chérie in Wonderland
https://cherieinwonderland.wordpress.com/2015/11/09/yarn-chicken-loose-nope
Les Ateliers de Chérie. Yarn chicken loose, nope…. I fought hard with that one… I finally decided to work on that scarf for my husband to match the orange and grey hat, but the last skein was wayyyy too small, so I had to cheat a bit and had a little bit of a remaining orange thread I had, and this my friend started the yarn chicken… Ahhhh. When I finished the yarn while stopping the work, well, you guess… Fail…. Feel proud now 🙂. Posted in: Knitting atelier. November WIPs and projects. HIP KIT CLUB BLOG.

Les Ateliers de Chérie. I did the first one in about an hour using the Crazy sexy wool from Wool and the gang. I used the whole skein. I really like how it looks from close up:. So next day I did another one using some brown Wool ease thick and quick metallics from Lion Brand. Here are a few pics with all the variations on how they can be worn as hats or shawls. Loved that picture with Alice’s rabbit in bottom right corner and the cat in top right corner… 😉. Posted in: Crochet atelier. Wool and the gang.

July 2015 – Chérie in Wonderland

Les Ateliers de Chérie. As I’m finally having some time to catch up with all the blogging I wanted to do, here are my latest crochet work for my friend’s baby. I did this baby strap flip flop based on the pattern. From Whistle and Ivy. And this one is inspired from the peek a boo sandals pattern. From Crochetzone. I somehow misread an instruction so I ended up working it up my way. Of course once we tried they were too big, so I tied them with an extra crochetted flower:. Vacation – Croatia, France.

Les Ateliers de Chérie. Yesterday I did a chocolate pie, with a little twist: I added a fey chocolate chips. Results: freaking-delicious! Super simple recipe, and really fast to cook! 1 dough, 20cl of cream, 8cl of milk, 1 egg and 200g of chocolate a few grams of chocolate chips. Cooked at 180 celcius degrees for 10 min and letting it in the oven for another 5 min when cooling down. Personally next time, I’ll add either a few pieces of pear … or… a small touch of sea salt! Right now, in the oven…. I figu...

September 2015 – Chérie in Wonderland

Les Ateliers de Chérie. Knitted pouch with owls and i-cord test. I completed the pouch during this long weekend (Monday was public holiday over here). I sewed the knitted sides. Cut a piece of fabric with some cute owls and sewed all of these with a zipper. Then I tried a new technique. I knitted an i-cord! But I’m really not a big fan of the end-result sadly. It feels weird when you touch it… Like a dead tail! I was first a bit confused by the instructions from the pattern. When a friend comes visit.

Les Ateliers de Chérie. Once a trainer, always a trainer. I think my friend over from kemiggies. Got this title spot on… She took these pictures yesterday with her daughter and me messing around at “training”…. And I did it again today with my friend Nome: I just taught someone for the first time how to crochet! In 2 hours she managed to finish her first wrist warmer! Proud of her 🙂. Les Ateliers de Chérie. Jacket with lace and cable. This is (one of) my current work in progress:. I really like the pattern. The lace and cables are so beautiful. The whole jacket is so nicely looking on the picture…I got to have that one! That would be my first really big project wearable and for myself. I usually tend to always give away almost everything I do even accessories. This is how far I got:. I’m done with the top of the back, finishing the top of the fronts and then I have to work on t...
