Dear Phone, please ring. I saw Good GP yesterday (my favourite GP for mh stuff, and she’s known me for years). OH came with me for moral support. We discussed how things were deteriorating, how I was struggling to complete the daily routine set by mh worker, thoughts of suicide/self harm. The plan was to ring the psych’s secretary and chase up the referral, and try to speak to the psych herself for further discussion about treatment for me, and then ring me to tell me the outcome. Eating. Sleeping. Functioning. These are things I am not always great at. Sleeping. After 3 nights of minimal sleep, and increasing exhaustion, I am capitulating and taking a sleeping pill. The story so far. Well, after waiting for the phone call the other day, I managed to speak to my GP. I have a prescription for the extra lofepramine needed to allow the med increase.
