Sunday, June 5, 2011. A weekend to remember! Over Christmas break, the decision was made (inspired by Marie) that we would all run a half-marathon in May. After 5 months of training, tired bodies, blisters galore, many fixes of gatorade and protein drinks. we have all complete a half-marathon. Yes.13.1 miles! It feels great to be done and I may even consider doing another. As for now, the recliner feels the best it has felt in months! The Glaser/Drakes and our inspiration "Marie". Saturday, May 7, 2011.

Friday, November 2, 2012. Porter and Carter wanted to make cookies. So, I let them. This is what they made:). Thursday, November 1, 2012. Porter Gets His Bear! Porter has been doing a good job at getting all his stuff done for scouts! He especially loves when they do "fun" stuff! Porter has worked hard and half way through the year has earned his Bear. Presenting me with the pin. I tried to tell him he needed to "salute" me with a kiss. He wouldn't so I attacked:). I'm so proud of him:). Such a cute boy!

Saturday, October 25, 2014. EYE'm on the mend! It's been 3 weeks since I went in for my initial surgery, and to be completely honest, it really wasn't all that bad! OCT 2: Radiation Plaque Surgery Day. LEFT:before surgery, eye was dilated - - RIGHT:before / after surgery}. K Hospitals are creepy right? PICS:in recovery, making the best of it}. By this time you'd think I would be starving but all I wanted was water, couldn't get enough of it! It helped my dry mouth and soothed my aching throat. I will for...

Keeping Up With the Dees. Tuesday, July 17, 2012. My sweet little Cannon is 6 months old today! At 6 months he loves his jumper and gnaws on everything, and gnawing is quickly turning into BITING! He is starting to show a lot of interest in toys which makes it a lot easier on me when he doesn't need constant entertainment. He is such a happy baby, full of smiles and giggles. How did I ever get so lucky! Monday, June 18, 2012. Someone's 5 Months Old. Cannon is now 5 months! Didn't think it was that great.
