Thursday, May 14, 2015. This year we went to the Provo Library's Fairy Tea which is a pretty popular event. I stood in line for an hour and a half for tickets on the day they went on sale. We dressed up in our fairy finest and joined our K. friends for a fancy evening. The Fairy King has pretty fairy attendants. But not a queen? Sunday, February 15, 2015. 28 Year Olds Can Be Cool. My birthday was last month. I wanted to say that it was a pretty good year, one in which I made an important discovery. I went to an amazing concert by the amazing Broadway star Sutton Foster. Later that week, I found out she is 39 years old. And that's when I realized that people over 30 can still be cool. Tuesday, September 30, 2014. Earlier this month, we got to see William and Heather and family. They are such great folks. Our big activity of the weekend was boating at Pine Dell (I think) Reservoir. It was about 40 degrees and windy when we got there, but then the day turned beautiful. Perfect for wakeboarding- or so I'm told. The only thing better than owning a boat is having relatives who own one. This boat is Russell and Rachel's. I think they named it The Williamina. The girls loved the boat.

Saturday, January 17, 2015. This year I was in charge of the nativity program on Christmas Eve. Everyone was a good sport, and there was only a small brawl over who got to be Mary. This was the year of the magical Christmas snow. We went to bed on a brown Christmas Eve and woke up to a winter wonderland. The cousins made the most of it. Except for Scotty. Turns out he isn't a big fan of snow. Apparently, it terrifies him. To get into the holiday spirit, William encourages his children play with scissors.

Monday, July 6, 2015. Annie learned to ride a bike without training wheels. We took the training wheels off and then Annie took off, no problem. Benson, the oldest grandchild in the McCombs family, entered the MTC. Aren't Liz's boys handsome? Benson will be serving in the Philippines. Shauna, Aaron's sister, got married!
