I spent the rest of the week doing flight physicals and catching up on the stuff that was no done the last 3 months the unit did not have a doctor. An ER Doctor’s time in Iraq. Week 1: Made it to Iraq. Hey guys, made it here safely. Weather is OK, dry (go figure) and only around 80 or so. It was a forty hours total time from when we left Saturday, till I got to Iraq. Actual flight time was around 20 hours. The flight into Iraq was on a plane called a Shirpa (spelling? An ER Doctor’s time in Iraq. Hello everyone, I am settled in in my trailer home, (see second photo). It is pretty basic, bed, locker but at least it has A/C. I bought a rug for the floor and am using my footlocker as a desk and table. I usually only sleep there, because I am in the office till about 9pm. And watch a movie or read a book. Not too bad. This is where I will post my "whiskerino" pictures. Last night I decided to run a 25K this morning. I’ve been training for a marathon at the end of April, so I was set to do a long run today anyway. I figured I might as well run a real race since I have the opportunity. Up to this point the longest organized run I’ve done was 10k. This is important stuff. Sushi for lunch. Also, my hair is a mess. Tribute to @hale, almost. Yesterday I registered for a marathon. What the hell is wrong with me?
