Little Brick Houses for You and Me: August 2015
http://marenask.blogspot.com/2015_08_01_archive.html
Little Brick Houses for You and Me. Monday, August 31, 2015. Last weekend we took a road trip. We went to Western Montana! But I was worried about being uncomfortable in the vehicle on the long drive and having to make everyone else stop for bathroom breaks every 45 minutes. I've had more enjoyable road trips but it was OK. There were quite a few fans at this game. Usually visiting fans don't get a parking lot to tailgate in. They just get a tent next to the home tailgating area. The game was OK but we l...

Little Brick Houses for You and Me: Combines and Puppies
http://marenask.blogspot.com/2015/08/combines-and-puppies.html
Little Brick Houses for You and Me. Monday, August 10, 2015. This year brought a new little harvest devotee named Ben, who was beside himself with excitement over "combine rides" at the farm. We arrived late Wednesday night and he didn't see any action until Friday evening. He had to be content with "helping" around Grandpa's shop. Having a 3 year old help by spraying a hose is rarely that helpful, but we won't tell the 3 year olds that! Here he is when he finally made it to the field! Seriously, how can...

Little Brick Houses for You and Me: July 2015
http://marenask.blogspot.com/2015_07_01_archive.html
Little Brick Houses for You and Me. Thursday, July 30, 2015. This week brought a milestone for Tessa.we converted her crib into a toddler bed! Here she is as I was trying to take a cute picture of her snuggled up with her baby and some stuffed animals. As you can see she was to fast for me. The following day a nap didn't happen. She ransacked her room for over an hour and Ben kept hearing her and going in to "check on TESSA! He was so cute and little! He was younger than Tessa is now. I was delusional), ...

Little Brick Houses for You and Me: Go for the Gold
http://marenask.blogspot.com/2015/08/go-for-gold.html
Little Brick Houses for You and Me. Monday, August 3, 2015. Go for the Gold. People from the "older generations" always lament about "kids these days" to the extent that doing so is pretty much a cliché. I remember older ladies at church always having something to say about what kids wore, how we acted, and on and on and on at church when I was a teenager. I remember thinking, "what should I wear then? What you are wearing? Elastic waist polyester slacks and Aerosoles shoes? That when there is any sort o...

Little Brick Houses for You and Me: January 2015
http://marenask.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Little Brick Houses for You and Me. Wednesday, January 28, 2015. A Break from the Coat. So this happened yesterday. Well, I hustled us all outside as soon as Ben and Tessa woke up from their naps, thinking that they would be giddy with glee. Well, the whole experience was nothing but a bunch of whining and mud. Waaa waaaaaa. Actually, I kind of missed the snow for Ben. If he's going to be outside it is better to have clean snow to deal with instead of mud. Andhere's a picture of Allan. Look at that focus!

Little Brick Houses for You and Me: April 2015
http://marenask.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Little Brick Houses for You and Me. Tuesday, April 28, 2015. The Clothes I Love to Hate. After struggling to find appropriate looking clothing in my normal wardrobe for a few weeks and finally deciding to draw the line on the circulation inhibiting jeans I decided to do what I've been avoiding and I went to the basement and found the box of maternity clothes! It's going to be a long 5-6 months before wearing my old jeans again. Well, realistically it could be months longer than that! Ben kind of gets it ...

Little Brick Houses for You and Me: September 2014
http://marenask.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Little Brick Houses for You and Me. Monday, September 29, 2014. Zucchini Season is OVER! We pulled up our lone zucchini plant over the weekend. By the end of the summer I am generally glad to see that particular plant go, even though I do enjoy eating zucchini. As we have in previous years, we left a zucchini on the vine just for fun to see how gigantic it would get. Here is this year's specimen in all it's glory:. It's about the size of Tessa! Saturday, September 27, 2014. Miss T. Margaret. Although we ...

Little Brick Houses for You and Me: November 2014
http://marenask.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Little Brick Houses for You and Me. Wednesday, November 26, 2014. Although I don't think there is anything wrong with it, I don't really enjoy the term "homemaker". It kind of makes me cringe, just like in college when someone would hear that I could sew or that I made something they would often say, "you're so. A new washing machine and dryer! And the dryer has a light inside of it! Look at all those settings and combinations! Now if I could only learn to properly iron a man's dress shirt, which I actua...

Little Brick Houses for You and Me: March 2015
http://marenask.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Little Brick Houses for You and Me. Tuesday, March 31, 2015. She is a little one year old wild woman! There is no denying which way is more fun! Rules sure are a buzzkill! Thursday, March 26, 2015. Tessa is going through a book phase. Well, I hope it is not a phase at all but a lifetime love of reading and learning like I have! When he was feeling threatened or exasperated. Imagine carrying him to bed and him wailing, "come onnnnnn! Hmmmm I can't imagine where he heard that! Monday, March 23, 2015. I end...
