Sunday, October 29, 2006. Such a long weekend, so little sleep. I think the beds in the cabins were designed for pre-teen campers.i.e. short, rubber mattresses arranged in the classic bunk-bed style. Just what an exhausted candidate wants: to sleep in a stuffy nook on an uncomfortable bed that's about three inches too short. I do want to stress that, besides the bed, Canterbury Hills. Monday, July 31, 2006. I went to a nearby church yesterday (a good Anglo-catholic parish) just to worship. No duties for me other than the common Christian duty of prayer and worship. I really enjoy being up front, part of the Sanctuary Party, but I also need the occasional off time. Monday, May 26, 2014. 3:22am. I've not slept more than an hour or so of fitful dozing, from 8:30 to 10:30pm. I went to bed that early because I was exhausted, actually nodding off mid-sentence while reading to Thomas before dinner. This is on the heels of a string of piss-poor nights for sleep, so I should be ripe for a long snooze. Nope I put Thomas to bed and laid down. In and out. Too early? The thought of that pill?
