A little Slice of My Life. Chai Chi Winter Picnic. On a sunny Sunday morning my friends Brian, Tyler, Patrick, Kyle, Thomas, Leah, and Ilene decided to have a picnic on an island about 5 miles from Sitka harbor. It was great to have a day just to relax on the beach and have a bon fire. We cut some wood, climbed on rocks, enjoyed the fire, fire crackers, and hot dogs. it was a great day to relax. A little Slice of My Life. After dropping a friend off at the airport, Thomas and I went to the end of the road to go up Starrigavin. The day was beautiful and I wished everyone could have been there. The hike was nice, we got lost, but were able to get a great vantage point view from our fortunate detour. To see our day click: watch video. Thomas and the mountains behind Harbor Mountain. By aaron2196 on March 18, 2009. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Address never made public).

A friend who is far away is sometimes much nearer than one who is at hand. Is not the mountain far more awe-inspiring and more clearly visible to one passing through the valley than to those who inhabit the mountain? Saturday, July 18, 2009. The dogmas of the quiet past are inadequate to the stormy present. The occasion is piled high with difficulty, and we must rise with the occasion. As our case is new, so we must think anew and act anew. -Abraham Lincoln. July 18, 2009 at 11:49 AM. You are UP THERE!

Lon's Corner of the World. Thursday, June 14, 2007. 8220;We are not alone! Lon's Corner of the World: Lost and Found
http://lonosborn.blogspot.com/2009/07/lost-and-found.html
Lon's Corner of the World. Tuesday, July 28, 2009. I recently received an email from one of the universities that I attended, stating that I was a “lost alumni.” Fortunately, one of my friends was able to give the school my email address so I could be found again! As I read the letter, I laughed to myself because of the understated irony that statement contained. Indeed, to many people I have been lost for quite some time now. I assure you though, that I'm not lost! Posted by Lon Osborn.

Lon's Corner of the World. Sunday, May 31, 2009. The communications group is particularly busy with all the happenings. These days I find myself sitting in on planning meetings for the conference(we are providing all the audio, video, and lighting support), working on producing videos(6 of them) for the conference itself, along with continuing our "normal" work. Posted by Lon Osborn. I made a little video of the race day itself. Click here to watch it. Posted by Lon Osborn. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Aaron Q. Weinstein. March 18, 2015 · 6:58 pm. These first changes are somewhat superficial. Yet the last change to which I would like to call attention had profound social ramifications. Until 1969, the meetings were segregated by sex. There are at least two possible explanations for this. First, John Kennedy was openly–and frequently–critical of this practice. As he said in 1961,. And the next year:. While it would be nice to believe that the breakfasts were integrated at JFK’s insistence, this do...

I think the compassionate factor that comes standard in women skipped me. Actually, I know it did. And I expect too much of my children. A part of me wishes that I could experience a day in their brain. See how their thought processes work. So that when one of them comes up to them and just randomly smacks the other, I really do know what they were thinking. Jackson woke up one night screaming. My first instinct? Call me sleep nazi.
