Sunday, May 30, 2010. End of the Year Blog. I can't believe it's over and I'm graduating. This has been an exciting year. Me and SarahEllen made a video game, well, a level from a video game, I was editor in chief of yearbook, and I even got to my favorite band in concert. =D But Next college. This class was a great experience for me. Learning coding for a game is hard and complex but teaches you something new you never knew before. The next few pictures are our game and I will explain each screenshot.

Wednesday, February 17, 2010. Video Tutorial on Flash Skills. Our latest assignment in Globaloria was to find a flash tutorial video of a skill we need to use in our team game. I found this video of how to make a scrolling background. The video describes making an object and duplicating it multiple times to put each one into a new keyframe on the timeline. It was educational because you had to know what angle to have the bow at to hit the target. Wednesday, March 31, 2010. Plans for the Rest of the Year. Tyler and I's plans for the rest of the year are to finish Level 1. We are so close to finishing that we might have time to get Level 2 started! That would be great! What we have left to do is fix the boundry code, add the trash and code it, make a score box, and a mini-game finish screen. We have 7 weeks to accomplish this and I believe that we can!
