The Aaron Sluggett Memorial Run honours the memory of Aaron, a Bowen Island boy who died in a car accident in June 2009. Aaron had just completed his first year of sciences at Simon Fraser University and was on the cusp of his adult life. The unfathomable loss brought the island together and helped create this run.
