The Ghosts and the Spirits. February 1st, 2010. Over the weekend, I read C. S. Lewis’ The Great Divorce. An interesting read, it forced me to examine my life in only the matter of a few hours. The subject matter of the book and the concepts evoked in the story further stirred things up in me that have been stirring in recent months. […]. About the Blog, About the Author. New Hope New Destinies Project. Having found myself feeling disenfranchised at the previous MUSH I role-played at two-years ago, I had begun stringing together ideas I had been mulling over, for the past few years at that point, into what I now call New Hope New Destinies . I shamelessly snagged the title of my project from a line in a song that I felt summed up the tenor of my premise. About the Blog, About the Author. New Hope New Destinies Project. A Bold Start to the New Year. December 31st, 2014. I’m not one for New Year’s resolutions. If it’s important enough to change next year, it’s important enough to change immediately. However, this year, I feel compelled to use the new year to redouble efforts on the resolutions I’ve struggled some I’ve even failed to keep over the years. I’ve already started working through the Art of Manliness. 30 Days to a Better Man. Reading is also a habit I shall be rebuilding this year. I’ve read only thre...It̵...

Being the Body of Christ. October 28th, 2010. When Jesus came into contact with the man born lame, he did not just drop a few coins at his feet and say, “Here. Get something to eat.” Jesus addressed his real need, both physical and spiritual. He first says, “Take heart, son; your sins are forgiven,” (Matt. 9:2) then he addresses his physical need and commands him to get up and walk. If in the same circumstance, what would you be longing for most? You must be logged in. To post a comment.
