Travel: Japan Cycyling Road Trip. Two friends from Canada, Reid McCord and Aaron Whitfield, cycled over 3,500 kilometres of the Japanese archipelago on a self-supported trip from north to the south of the four main islands. They started on August 9, 2005 in Sapporo, on the island of Hokkaido. They rode south on their touring bikes they brought from home and pulled B.O.B trailers with all their gear all the way to Fukuoka, on the island of Kyushu. Easter Mini Photo Session 2016. We travelled into Busan, South Korea, on a high speed ferry from Japan. Without any pre-planning we re-built our bikes and set off into the heart of the city to find accomodation and a meal.
