Tuesday, March 5, 2013. Says "Watch this," when she's doing something she thinks is impressive and wants you to see it. Says "bless you" after we sneeze. Knows her books very well. While reading her favorite book (Ernie's Big Mess) I decided to stop at the end of the sentence without saying the last word to see if Kaitlyn knew what it was. Sunday, April 29, 2012. Home #6 for the Zehrs. April 3 we moved into our new house in Eureka, IL. So far we are loving it! Kaitlyn adjusted very well and she really likes it too! Our house is lovacated in a subdivion and is within walking distance of the lake/park. Living room when you walk in the front door. Kaitlyn's room-It was already pink so we went with that. :). Tuesday, April 23, 2013. Kaitlyn turned 2 years old this week! Anything with balls-She loves to watch sports on TV that use a ball. She is great at dribbling balls, kicking, and throwing them. I wouldn't be surprised if she plays basketball, softball, or volleyball in school. Elmo and the other Sesame Street characters-She knows atleast 10 of them by name. Friday, December 28, 2012. This kiddo is inching her way to being 2 and I can't believe it! She is just so grown up and seeing her next to her 6 week old cousin makes her seem even MORE grown up. At times it seems like she's already 2 as she tries to get as close as she can to the line without crossing it. She is definitely testing the waters already! Can say a few 3 word sentences. She talks a lot and says more words than we can keep track of. We pretty much have conversations these days. :).

Tuesday, May 29, 2012. Here are a few things that have been going on with us. We are really starting to get to know our church family at Eureka Bible. It's a long process to build those relationships but we are having fun getting to know people! A couple weeks ago we had the high school teens over for the first time for games. Thursday, August 23, 2012. Pretty much runs everywhere. Has 12 teeth- 8 front teeth and 4 molars. She holds our hands every time we pray for meals. :). Has been making big improvements in eating. In the 14 month post I wrote that she wouldn't try things and refused to eat fruit. She loves fruit now (except peaches) and has been trying anything new we give her. Doesn't play well independently. She never really has. I was hoping she would outgrow that by now. It would make my life much easier. :). Friday, ...

Wednesday, January 23, 2013. On January 13 Aaron and I have been married 6 years. I'm so blessed to be able to call that man my husband! In October we received a one night getaway from the church for Pastor Appreciation so we decided to use that for our anniversary. They also gave us money to go out for dinner. What a blessing!
