Fabrication - AAST International Workshop

Test cutting, fabrication and presentation. From September 7th each team proceeded with finalizing the data of the model chosen for fabrication. Students proceeded with test-cutting their team's model, testing joints and details, and then finally they used the final vector data for fabricating the needed parts . The same laser cutters used for prototyping were used also for fabrication of structural parts by using 300x600mm and 450x800mm veneer panels, about 5,5mm thick. Create a free website.

Prototyping and design review. All participants who produced an individual project had the chance to build one or more prototypes of their projects in small scale by cutting elements on a "golden board" paper sheet, approximately 1mm thick, with laser cutters. The assembled prototypes were used, together with other renderings and images, to review the concepts beind the individual projects and to choose one.
