A baby and two schnoodles. Wednesday, July 22, 2015. We asked our friends to go on a last minute picnic, and Beth took us to a quiet park outside town. It had a shady playground, and picnic tables. We enjoyed some time outside with our friends, and then loaded up to get the girls down for their naps. The kids spontaneously held hands on the way back to the car. well four of them did. Jill was easy to convince to join them :). Photo taken by Beth. It felt so nice to walk back home into a clean house!

A baby and two schnoodles. Tuesday, January 21, 2014. When big brother is at preschool. Jackson has it in his head that he gets a treat when John is at school. We usually are running errands, and I have been willing to grab him a donut or the like while we were out. Today, we didn't have any shopping plans, but he was so hoping for a little treat. So we made chocolate donuts. Jackson quickly discovered the benefits of having the place to himself! Are you sure I can't have chocolate donuts too?

We previously tried to modge podge carefully dried fall leaves to jars to make candle holders. Pinterest FAIL! I'm not sure how they got their leaves to stick to the glass with modge podge. but our jars actually seemed to repel the leaves.
