N the village of Borley, Essex, United Kingdom, had the reputation of being "the most haunted house in England" and, possibly, the world. Built in 1863, the house was destroyed by fire in 1939, but remains a source of controversy. Reports of paranormal activity are still reported in the area, including Borley Church. Comendador Paulo Felisberto Peixoto da Fonseca era um abastado português que veio para o Brasil pelos os idos de 1880 fazer fortuna como comerciante. Começou a adquirir terrenos da sua chácara em 1903, apesar de já ter terrenos em outros bairros. Mais tarde veio se casar com Orminda Cunha da Fonseca, uma carioca de pais pernambucanos. O comendador era um homem muito amargurado, sério e severo e muito odiado por ser perverso.

Money, security, pension plan, and health insurance. I have been spectacularly fortunate; it’s a great job, with great colleagues. So far, so good.
