MARLEY RED wine is made from grapes grown on the southerly slopes of the Abberley Hills in north west Worcestershire. It is made from a combination of 3 red grapes namely RONDO,PINOT NOIR and REGENT. We are pleased to be associated with Halfpenny Green vineyards who do the wine making for us. They have many years experience growing and making quality wines. Peter and Julia van Tongeren launching MARLEY RED at the Teme Valley Market in 2013.

Marley Red wine will soon be available in a number of local outlets but at the moment is exclusively available at Great Witley General Stores and the Larder in Stanford Bridge. IN OUR FIRST YEAR OF ENTERING OUR RED WINE WE WON A. AT THE RECENT MERCIAN WINEGROWERS ASSOCIATION AWARDS. IT WAS OUR 2013 MARLEY RED THAT WON A BRONZE AND THE 2014 WAS HIGHLY COMMENDED.

We had a farm shop for many years but reluctantly decided to close it in 2006 after having a review of our business. We now concentrate on growing quality apples and pears for supermarket and making our own11 varieties of apple juices including our blended juices namely apple and raspberry, apple and blackcurrant and apple and pear. With the pear varieties all the main ones are grown namely Conference, Comice and Concord. All our top fruit are marketed through.
