Abbie divides her time between a cottage in the mountains near St-Donat and Montreal. Her oil paintings reflect her sensibility for colours in this northern climate that is somehow more exotic than observed at first blush. She has a Fine Arts BA from Scripps college, where her focus was on film and photography and sculpture; a love of painting has emerged in recent years.
