Male, Female and disabled there are. Showers, washbasins and flush toilets. There are facilities for washing-up. Hot water is free throughout and always available. The Service Block is cleaned routinely throughout the day and is maintained to the highest standards. There is also a freezer available to freeze your ice packs.

Ours is a friendly, relaxed family site. To make sure that everyone has a comfortable and enjoyable stay a few conditions are specified:-. We have a zero tolerance policy for any of the rules listed below that are broken, or for any abuse to either ourselves or other campers. The proprietors reserve the right to evict any campers who in their opinion are not following the site rules or who are causing a nuisance on the site. No single sex groups except Duke of Edinburgh, without prior arrangement.

How To Find Us. Abbot Park, Bandrake Head, Ulverston. Tel: 01229 861 447. SD 313 880 (elevation 130m). From A590 after Rusland Pool Hotel about 200 metres turn right at the Bouth. Keep left on that road don’t go to Bouth, until you get to the cross roads turn right to Colton. After 2 miles turn left at the sign post for Bandrakehead. In about 1 mile you will get to a small hill with railings on your left and houses on your right go up the hill. Go right to the END. Welcome to Abbot Park Campsite!

Abbot Park is a small, family run hill farm occupying 120 acres within the Lake District National Park. For 60 years on the farm we have raised sheep and cattle along with a number of free range hens. The farm comprises of open countryside, it offers a wildlife haven for birds, butterflies, deer and many more visitors. My neighbour has popped round for one drink and he is still here - he has just had some tea (he has been really chatty since he arrived and he brought a bottle of gin, so I am not complaining! Abbot Park Farm Campsite. Monday, 2 February 2015. Hello everyone, sorry for the delay in posting! It's been a hectic time up here at Abbot Park. The winter has just flown by! We are busy preparing for the new season which is ahead of us and seem to have plenty of visitors coming to stay for the Easter holidays. Christmas was lovely, we had a very merry time and enjoyed lots of good food and plenty of mulled wine round the fire. Never a dull moment. We will post some photos when we can get them to upload.
