Bill studied music at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama as a junior exhibitioner, every Saturday, for many years whilst at school and then full time when he left school for 3 years. His principal instrument at the time was the Trumpet with Piano as a second study. Guitar he studied externally with the fine Jazz and session Guitarist Harry Barnet. On leaving College he decided Guitar was the instrument for him and he has enjoyed a very interesting and varied career as player and teacher so far.

Perhaps highlighting once again the unusual situation for students living in Radlett and Shenley, Herts County Council is looking at making cuts to the school transport system, in other words, school buses.
