On Friday at my plastics appointment at CoH, I was released to lift Rhodes as long as I’m careful and don’t overdo it. Follow our pink brick road. No news was good news. Well, I think we can all agree I’m a pretty lousy blogger. I have lots of excuses – most of which are lame. I. I had so many things to say and people to thank! Any day ended up taking about another month and a half, but it was worth the wait! Feeling normal is highly underrated. Blog-wise, I had entered the land of procrastination… Then the holidays were approaching… Then another wrinkle that I wanted to report as resolved…. The plan is pretty simple....

Follow our pink brick road. The next stop is radiation. This will be really important, especially considering the recurrence in the skin. We need to start 4-6 weeks after surgery. The earliest they will let me begin is 3 weeks post-op, which is what I am trying for. I have to be able to lift my right arm up and behind my head (out of the way of the radiation), so I am doing my exercises vigilantly. Photos by Kristin Eldridge. 7 responses to “ Results.
