We went caroling last night, sang songs this morning, opened a plethora of gifts, and watched Elf together. It was just great having everyone together during the holidays. And a HIPPO New Year! Finding Joy in the Journey. Monday, July 30, 2012. This past weekend I had the opportunity to attend Iowa City Stake's Youth Conference, along with my sister Lyric. Finding Joy in the Journey. Thursday, September 6, 2012. I love MV swim team. It's probably the greatest thing that's ever happened to me. Today I swam the 100 freestyle and did great! After the meet we went to Pizza Mart, and this adorable, blonde, home schooled boy named Jesse drove me. HE GOT OUT AND OPENED MY CAR DOOR. AND PAID FOR MY FOOD. It was a great awakening to what more boys should behave like. He is honestly the ideal gentleman. America could use some more of those in the world.

I only have one more year left of breaking the law before it goes on my permanent record! I mean… Uhh one more year until I can vote! What a blessing to know more of my future plans. Finding Joy in the Journey. Saturday, September 8, 2012. Instead of going to my first swim invitational meet, I had to get up at 8 to set up for the Junior float decorating. (I was extremely bummed that I had to miss out, but I'll live.) Making the float was fun! And a lot of people showed up. Being Junior V.P. in student Council is so stressful and busy. But I'm sure it will pay off in the long run. The Junior Homecoming Float is definitely gonna win first place in the parade! Day Activity Yeah Yeah.
