Silver Milestones: June 2009
http://silvermilestones.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Two old bloggers doing the retirement thing together. Tuesday, June 9, 2009. Living Life in a Bed. It feels like i'm. Spending more and more time in bed, and i'm. Looking as pale as my white set of sheets. The weather has been on and off again sun/clouds. It would be nice to either get the el. They say we are in, or go back to our normal summer bank of fog. Either way, I will be stuck watching it through the window next to my bed or futon. BTW TV sucks this summer season. Saturday, June 6, 2009. His file...

duble duble toil and mumble: September 2011
http://lilbeaner.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Duble duble toil and mumble. The greatest blog in the history of mankind. At the very least the best blog around that often tells bathroom and tax stories. Saturday, September 24, 2011. Update on the juicing kick. I went from 193 to 187 in a week. Then I went to Orlando for a week. Well, in the happiest place on earth, I thought my binging or at least eating out all week would destroy any progress i had made, well, I got back got up this morning and weighted myself, and it said 189. In memory of my Chica. August 8, 2016. August 8, 2016. Gina and I met back in ’88 or ’89. I’m not exactly sure. I just remember that the definitive start to our friendship began while we were both in the midst of our first pregnancies. So I guess late 1988 would have been where it all began. She coached her kids’ sports teams and was always involved, if not as a coach, then on the athletic association’s board, or with the booster club. As our kids grew older, leaving us time to explore hobbies of our own...

Momma Mia, Mea Culpa. Too Lazy to Hide the Crazy. Category Archives: JCH quotes. Once Upon a Time, There Was a Girl and a Boy. July 22, 2015 – 10:58 pm. Y’all, I seriously don’t even know where to begin a story that’s been 26 years in the making. Twenty-six painstaking, heartbreaking, death-defying years. Which is why I’ve been absent from the Internet, for like, forever. Also? There are new and delicate privacy issues I’ve had to consider. Things I’ve never had to consider […]. Also posted in Dating.

Zombie Rock Chef: My Town is Famous Again!
http://rock-chef.blogspot.com/2015/07/my-town-is-famous-again.html
Thursday, 2 July 2015. My Town is Famous Again! Following up its previous claim to fame for having the worst Christmas Tree in the country, my little town is in the national news again. JAWS: ‘Great white shark’ spotted off Herne Bay coast causes exodus of terrified swimmers from sea. Could have been a horrific incident, you would have thought that this news would have spread like wildfire. But, um, no. But it got us in the news again, and not because everyone is laughing at us! 2 July 2015 at 18:07.

Zombie Rock Chef: Animals
http://rock-chef.blogspot.com/2015/08/animals.html
Tuesday, 4 August 2015. A while back, Mrs RC made a nest box for a pair of doves that were extremely bad at nest building. The box worked, the doves moved in and here are the babies they had! The adults have now rebuilt the nest and seem intent on having more babies before the summer ends. When we found this in the garden I thought it was some sort of snake at first. Turns out to be the caterpillar of a Giant Hawk Moth. Bees and butterflies also seem to like our garden. Well, look at the dove kids! Then ...

Deepening Our Roots | Life Write Here
https://lifewritehere.wordpress.com/2016/10/09/deepening-our-roots
October 9, 2016. October 9, 2016. I feel guilty for not having written in so long! Of all the things I like to do in my spare time, writing is the one thing to which I used to be truly dedicated. It’s been hard to find the time these past few months as we’ve been putting an addition on our house. But the ceilings look GOOD! It’s nearly impossible to spray a new ceiling and stay perfectly within the borders. If we had leftover paint in the color of every room, we could touch up the top edges of ...Really ...

It is what it is. October 22, 2016. October 22, 2016. I can’t believe it’s autumn already. I just decided to write. Where has that word gone? 8230; Anyway …). Sometimes, it’s simply the thought of this county’s next leader that leaves me fearful of tomorrow. Some days it all weighs on my heart to the point that I wonder why we bother with any of it. They understand this and I love them for it. (Shelly! None of us knows what it’s truly like inside the hearts of each other. Sometimes people can&#...Nothing...
