The Night of Our Engagement. While Abby was at Cost Plus agonizing over what color adirondack chair to buy, Jesse was furiously developing a ploy to execute his grand engagement plan. He desperately needed a five minute warning from Abby so he could light all 150 votive candles he had assembled across the floor to spell out “Will You Marry Me.”.
